Cowboys' Micah Parsons shows off speed versus NFL defensive backs

There are many things football fans can point out about what makes Micah Parsons so special. The Dallas Cowboys linebacker essentially plays two different positions. He's a team leader. He's strong. He can drop back in coverage and look like a legit safety downfield.
But if I had to pick just one thing, I'd point out his speed. Micah Parsons consistently looks like the fastest, quickest player on the field.
At this point, I'm willing to bet that's almost always the case. Recently, Parsons got to show off how ridiculously fast he is in Pros Week in Austin, Texas.
Judging by the video, Parsons got the win against several NFL players, including defensive backs! They aren't even supposed to run at the same speed but Micah makes it look easy. To be fair, some are arguing Jacksonville Jaguars' Andre Cisco (wearing red shorts in the clip) actually got the win.
Based on the angle above, it looks like the Cowboys' star crosses the finish line first.
Once the clip went viral, Micah Parsons took to Twitter to call out EA Sports for his low speed ratings on Madden. According to MaddenRatings.com, Parsons will have a 91 speed grade in the upcoming edition of the popular (unpopular at this point?) videogame.
That's not necessarily an outrageous grade, but the Dallas Cowboys' star has gotten where's gotten by wanting more.
By the way, Parsons didn't limit his skill showcase to the football field. Instead he showed off his dominance on the basketball court.
At the very least, these tiny examples put together show Micah Parsons' competitive toughness and what makes him a great football player. The guy has challenged his Cowboys teammates to lead the team in several stats, including claiming that he could lead the team in interceptions after Trevon Diggs racked up 11 last year.
Come to think about it, I'd pick his competitiveness over his speed.
