The NFL held its award show on Thursday night. Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons is one of several players to feel snubbed.

That is because Nick Bosa won Defensive Player of the Year honors over Parsons (and Chris Jones, Quinnen Williams, and Hassan Reddick). Not only that, but Parsons did not even receive a singlefirst-place vote for the honor.

Bosa grabbed 46 of the 50 first-place votes. Reddick earned two, while Jones and Williams each notched one. Parsons was nowhere to be found, although he did finish second overall in the voting.

Needless to say, the Dallas Cowboys' star was not too happy about that fact. In fact, he took to Twitter to send a message that he's coming in a big way next season.

Parsons is a game-changer for Cowboys

It's not the most surprising news to see Parsons not win the award. After all, Bosa was the favorite for a reason when he surged past Parsons in the odds in the latter stages of the season.

Still, for Micah Parsons to not receive one first-place vote is pretty crazy.

There is no denying how big of a game-changing talent that he is. He can rush the passer as good as any edge in football. Additionally, his versatility allows Dan Quinn and the Cowboys to move him around the defense and impact the game in different ways

With that said, he is coming to finally take home the crown next season. And that's big news for the Dallas Cowboys. Some extra motivation certainly does not hurt.
