Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott had to exit Sunday night's game with an apparent hand injury in the fourth quarter.

The injury occurred when Shaquil Barrett hit his throwing hand on the follow-through while rushing the passer. Prescott briefly stayed on the field before taking himself out of the game.

Barrett contacted Prescott's hand with his own hands, not with his helmet, which is worth noting.

The Cowboys quarterback completed 14 of 29 pass attempts for a meager total of 134 yards. The offense struggled all night long to find a rhythm and now the concern extends beyond the scoreboard itself as Cowboys fans await an update on the team's starting quarterback.

Prescott was listed in the injury report during the week with an ankle injury but was reportedly "100%" regarding his ankle coming into the game.
