The Dallas Cowboys have one of the deepest edge rusher groups in the NFL, highlighted by All-Pro Micah Parsons of course.
Well, as of Friday, there will be one less soldier on the frontline in that area in 2023 as the Cowboys have released former first-round pick, Takk McKinley.
McKinley signed to the Cowboys practice squad last November but never appeared in a game. Dallas decided to bring McKinley back on a one-year deal back in March.
A huge reason why McKinley was brought in was his connection to defensive coordinator Dan Quinn in the hope that he could get some juice out of him. However, McKinley has become a victim of the numbers game in Dallas.
