The Dallas Cowboys lost a key piece of depth to the New York Giants on Thursday as center Sean Harlow was signed off of their practice squad.
Following an injury to guard Shane Lemieux, the Giants targeted the Cowboys' practice squad for help. Harlow was a call-up in Week 3 when the Cowboys were down Tyler Smith.
It's worth noting Harlow spent training camp with the Giants and the Cowboys didn't hesitate to get him on their squad following the roster cuts at the end of August.
Is offensive line depth a concern for the Cowboys?
Yes and no. Every NFL team wishes it had better offensive line depth. After all, you're fielding five of them at a time and one or two injuries can spell disaster.
However, the Cowboys are relatively well set up. Chuma Edoga can play both tackle and guard. Rookie T.J. Bass is raw but has plenty of upside. Center Brock Hoffman started in Week 3 and didn't get exposed although that might've been masked due to the Cowboys abandoning the vertical game in Arizona. There's also fifth-round pick Asim Richards, who could contribute at tackle if needed.
The Cowboys also have some young talent in their squad Alex Taylor, Earl Bostick Jr., and Billy Price.
