The Dallas Cowboys start their quest for a sixth Lombardi trophy Monday night against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. When facing Tom Brady, all hands are needed on deck, and the Cowboys just got some reinforcements.

Defensive tackle, Jonathan Hankins, who has been out since he suffered a pectoral injury in Week 14, has been activated off of injured reserve. Also, cornerback Xavier Rhodes and offensive lineman Aviante Collins from the practice squad.

Once Hankins went down, the plan was for him to rehab and be ready for the playoffs, and it's much-needed. The Cowboys have had some issues stopping the run, and Buccaneers' running back Leonard Fournette had his only 100-yard game against Dallas in the season opener.

Hankins' presence as an inside-run defender will help the Cowboys.

Rhodes being called was also a great move for the Cowboys. There have been some musical chairs at the CB2 spot for the Cowboys with rookie DaRon Bland, Kelvin Joseph, Nahshon Wright, and Trayvon Mullen. Rhodes has impressed the Cowboys with his instincts, and with the Buccaneers getting healthy at wide receiver, he may play quite a bit.

Collins has only taken 80 snaps since entering the NFL in 2017, including three with Dallas this season. So, this is merely a depth move, and although those don't move the headlines, they are needed.
