The Dallas Cowboys have made a few signings, and no, they're not of the splash variety.

Dallas signed linebacker Malik Jefferson, offensive tackle Issac Alarcon, and tight end Seth Green to reserve/future contracts on Wednesday.

Players signed to reserve/future contracts won't count against the roster limit until March. When the 2023 league begins on March 15, all NFL teams will be allowed to have up to 90 players on their roster for training camp.

Jefferson was signed by the Cowboys last July. Unfortunately, Jefferson didn't log a defensive snap this season and has been on six teams in five years. However, the linebacker position with the Cowboys still needs some depth, so it'll be interesting to see if Jefferson, a former Big 12 Co-Defensive Player of the Year can find a role.

Alarcon first came to the Cowboys in 2020 as a part of the NFL's International Player Pathway Program. This is the third consecutive offseason that Alarcon has been signed to a reserve/future contract and the Cowboys could certainly use the depth at tackle.

Green was signed to the Cowboys' practice squad last October but was released in December.
