It's time for the Cowboys to make some tough decisions. NFL teams have to trim their rosters to the 53-man limit by Tuesday, August 30 at 4 pm EST.

In Dallas, a wave of young wide receivers has made noise during training camp and the preseason. Unfortunately, with limited spots at every position, it becomes a numbers game, and T.J. Vasher, who went undrafted in 2021, was waived on Sunday.

As seen in the video above, Vasher set the Cowboys' community on fire with his one-handed catch on a rep against Kelvin Joseph during camp. However, whatever buzz he had seemed to dwindle after this highlight play as guys like Simi Fehoko, Dennis Houston, and KaVontae Turpin consistently had quality reps.

The height of Vasher at about 6-foot-6 and his leaping ability was looked at as a possible red zone weapon for the Cowboys this season. Now, unless the Cowboys bring him back on the practice squad, his NFL journey will continue elsewhere.
