The Dallas Cowboys have yet to make any noteworthy signings this offseason. In fact, Dallas' questionable decision-making has made more headlines, than anything.

To start, wide receiver Amari Cooper was traded and offensive tackle La'el Collins was cut. Now, Dallas must replace two important offensive starters, as a result.

And that's without getting into the Randy Gregory situation. The Cowboys had Gregory re-signed before disagreements in contract discussions led to Gregory inking with the Broncos.

The moves have caused a ton of frustration among Dallas Cowboys fans. To make matters worse, the front office has not yet made an acquisition to offset the lost talent.

A potential move could be in the near future, however.

COWBOYS INTERESTED IN PRO BOWLER

Reports surfaced on Monday morning that the Dallas Cowboys are "making a strong push" to sign former Packers EDGE Za'Darius Smith. The two-time Pro Bowler initially inked with the Ravens before things fell apart.

Smith is one of the best at his position on the free agent market. With Gregory off to Denver, the Cowboys have a big need at defensive end opposite of DeMarcus Lawrence.

The former Packers defender would be as good of a replacement as the Cowboys could hope for.

Prior to this past season where Smith was limited with injuries, the free agent defender posted back-to-back double-digit sack seasons. Despite growing in age and having back concerns, Smith would still provide the Cowboys with some pass rushing juice.

Smith is drawing interest from other teams around the league, including the Chiefs. However, the Cowboys have money to play with and certainly appear to be a real factor to sign the veteran defender.

The Dallas Cowboys desperately need to make a noteworthy free agent signing this offseason. Za'Darius Smith would definitely fit that bill and give the Cowboys a potential difference maker in the front seven.
