The Dallas Cowboys got back in the win column last week with a victory over the New Orleans Saints. A road trip to take on the Washington Football Team in an important NFC East battle now awaits Dallas.

Washington has won four games in a row and looks to be somewhat hitting its stride. Quarterback Taylor Heinike is still hit-or-miss, but Antonio Gibson finally looks healthy and the defense is playing well — without Chase Young or Montez Sweat.

Divisional games are always tricky, and this will be no different. Washington is making a late-season playoff push and are only two games back in the division. A win over the Cowboys would give the Football Team a shot to win the NFC East crown.

The good news for the Dallas Cowboys is that they have Dak Prescott and Washington does not. Prescott has had an extremely successful and impressive career versus the divisional rival from the DMV area.

Prescott had led the Dallas Cowboys to seven wins in eight games against Washington. While wins aren't exactly a quarterback stat, Dak Prescott has had Washington's number time and time again. In total, Prescott has thrown for 1,866 yards, 13 touchdowns and 1 interception with a passer rating of 111.2 in his career against Washington.

Interestingly enough, Sunday will be Prescott's first game against the Washington Football Team, as Washington changed its team name prior to the 2020 season. Dak Prescott, of course, missed both contests a year ago due to a season-ending ankle injury.

The Dallas Cowboys have a big opportunity to create more breathing room within the division with a victory in week 14. While Dallas cannot mathematically lock up the division just yet, a win over Washington would go a long way in securing an NFC East crown.

Dak Prescott has a chance to have another strong outing against the division foe.
