Dak Prescott made his return to the football field in week one for the Dallas Cowboys against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It was Prescott's first time in a game setting since week five of 2020 after not taking a snap in the preseason.
All Prescott did in his return was throw for 403 yards and three touchdowns against the defending Super Bowl champions. Dallas had a great chance to defeat the Buccaneers in the season opener thanks to the play of Prescott.
Prescott followed his week one showing with an efficient performance versus the Los Angeles Chargers in week two. The Cowboys' quarterback completed 85% of his passes and set up multiple scoring drives for Dallas in the road victory.
Now, Dak Prescott is set to make his return to AT&T Stadium in week three.
PRESCOTT TO RETURN TO AT&T STADIUM IN PRIMETIME

What better way for Dak Prescott to make his return to his home stadium than on a primetime stage against a hated divisional rival? The Dallas Cowboys are set to take on the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football. Both teams will be looking to improve to 2-1.
Prescott suffered his season-ending injury against a divisional rival last year. Now, he gets to play a different divisional opponent this time around. It also just so happens that the first game that Dallas played after Prescott's injury was on MNF.
The Cowboys, of course, lost that Monday Night Football game to the Arizona Cardinals. So, this week will give the Cowboys to avenge two different things against the Eagles.
Additionally, Prescott did not get an opportunity to play against the Eagles in 2020. Dallas played Philadelphia twice after Prescott went down in week five. You have to imagine that he is eager for the chance to beat the team that he is 5-3 against in his career.
Monday's game has several interesting storylines. The Cowboys will be looking to defend homefield and take the lead in the division. Philadelphia is attempting to grab a big road win while taking first place in the NFC East. It is also the first matchup between Dak Prescott and Jalen Hurts.
A primetime stage is fitting for this week three battle.
