There is officially less than a week until the start of the 2022 NFL Draft. It is becoming easier to pin down where the Dallas Cowboys are looking to address early in draft weekend.

Dallas must add offensive line help after losing or moving on from starters Connor Williams and La'el Collins. Firepower at wide receiver is also a crucial need, as the Cowboys will be without Amari Cooper and Cedrick Wilson next season.

Pass rusher is another hole that was created after Randy Gregory departed for the Denver Broncos. A linebacker to play next to Micah Parsons and a rangy defender in the secondary are two other positions that Dallas could look to add.

While using PFF's draft simulator, the Dallas Cowboys fill three positions of need in a three-round mock draft.

1.24: Zion Johnson, offensive line, Boston College

Zion Johnson is one of the prospects that have been most linked to the Dallas Cowboys throughout the draft process. The Boston College lineman is the top-ranked guard in the draft class and is a sure-fire plug-and-play prospect in the interior of the offensive line.

It is worth noting that both Chris Olave, the pass catcher out of Ohio State, and Kenyon Green, the versatile blocker from Texas A&M, were both on the board. In the end, I went with Johnson due to the glaring need at offensive line.

Dallas wants to shore up the line of scrimmage in a big way.

2.56: Logan Hall, defensive line, Houston

Houston defensive lineman Logan Hall has been generating some late first-round buzz. Hall has met with several teams leading up to the draft — including the Dallas Cowboys. The Houston product is a versatile defender that can play on the edge and inside.

If Hall falls outside the top-50, it would be a coup for the Cowboys. Dallas is looking to bolster its pass rush after losing Gregroy in free agency. Hall provides juice inside with some flexibility to move outside in certain situations.

3.88: Khalil Shakir, wide receiver, Boise State

Is it really a Cowboys draft if it does not involve a Boise State player? Khalil Shakir is the Boise State product that could end up being a Cowboys' selection on draft weekend. Shakir is a smooth wideout that made a living of embarrassing defenders out of the slot.

Shakir could replace former Boise State star Cedrick Wilson on the Cowboys' roster — however the incoming rookie possesses more upside as a receiver. The Boise State product averaged nearly 14 yards per reception in college and ran a 4.43 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine.

Shakir is an ideal target on day-two of the NFL Draft that would complement CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup well.

The Dallas Cowboys have multiple needs to addressing on the roster through the NFL Draft. This three-round mock paints a picture of how the Cowboys can reasonably attack filling important holes.
