Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb had a terrific sophomore season in 2021.

Lamb, who was the No. 17 overall pick by the Cowboys in the 2020 NFL Draft, caught 79 passes for 1,102 yards and six touchdowns this past season.

The former Oklahoma standout was voted to his first career Pro-Bowl as a result of his solid season.

There's little doubt that Lamb is on his way to being an NFL superstar.

Lamb, however, isn't ok with just "being on his way". He wants to take his game to the next level.

The Louisiana native wants to be used in 2022 like Deebo Samuel is used by the San Francisco 49ers.

Samuel had 59 carries for 365 yards and eight touchdowns in 2021 (he also caught 77 passes for 1,405 yards and six touchdowns).

Lamb, on the other hand, had nine carries for 76 yards in 2021 (he had 10 carries for 82 yards as a rookie in 2020).

Interestingly enough, Lamb averages 8.3 yards per carry in his career while Samuel averages 6.8 yards per carry in his career.

Maybe Cowboys offensive coordinator Kellen Moore can find a way to get Lamb some carries in 2022 — it's an offensive approach we're seeing more often these days in the NFL (just look at how the Atlanta Falcons used Cordarrelle Patterson this season).

Lamb is always going to be a wide receiver before anything else. But getting him some carries could certainly bring a new element to the Cowboys' already potent offense.
