When the Dallas Cowboys play the Philadelphia Eagles, you know you're in for something special. In 2020, though, things are very different. It's a Sunday Night Football matchup, but it might not have the feel of it. Both teams are entering the game with a combined 4-9-1 record as things have not gone as expected for neither of them.

But the Eagles – who sit atop the NFC East – is going to be quite a different team on Sunday. Just like the Cowboys, Philly has been dealing with plenty of injuries. In fact, last week, Carson Wentz was literally the only player at full health on the Eagles' offense.

But unfortunately for the Dallas Cowboys, that will be changing this week. According to Mike Garafolo, several key Eagles will be activated for this rivalry game.

Quarterback Carson Wentz has been constantly criticized due to his play, but let's talk about his surroundings for a bit. I'm not going to say Wentz hasn't made mistakes, but many of those have been the result of him trying to do too much. His offensive line has been terrible lately and he hasn't had quality weapons at his disposal in the receiving game.

Only the New England Patriots have dropped more passes than the Eagles. Gettting first-round draft pick Jalen Reagor should be huge for this offense. He's played in only two games for Philadelphia but his impact on the field should be felt immediately. Not to mention, Dallas Goedert will complement Zach Ertz greatly.

Just think about 2019, when Ertz and Goedert led the team in receiving yards. Wentz getting to target two good tight ends in addition to a starting receiver should help an offense that currently ranks 27th in offensive DVOA.

On the other hand, the Dallas Cowboys will be getting a couple of players back. The question for Dallas though, is how much will they contribute?

Offensive Guard Zack Martin is a difference maker, but there's only so much he can do for such a banged-up offensive line. The same goes for Linebacker Sean Lee. The Cowboys' defense is finding new lows week after week. Will Lee even get enough playing time over Leighton Vander Esch and/or Jaylon Smith?

The Cowboys arrive in Week 8 as road 10-point underdogs. Getting the win in Philadelphia is looking like a tough ask, but seeing improvement with these players might just be good enough for now.

As the Cowboys and Eagles square off this Sunday, both teams will be getting back key players. However, Dallas' disadvantage is they're not getting Andy Dalton back in time. Hopefully, Ben DiNucci surprises us all on the biggest show of the week, Sunday Night Football.
