As the 2022 NFL Draft approaches, the Dallas Cowboys are making the rounds at several pro days around the nation.
Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy and defensive coordinator Dan Quinn attended Georgia's loaded pro day earlier this month. Quinn was most recently at the Ole Miss pro day earlier this week.
Offensive coordinator Kellen Moore has made multiple stops in the Midwest. The young offensive mind was in attendance for pro days at Iowa State and Ohio State this month.
Moore's presence at the two pro days could point to where the Dallas Cowboys are headed come draft time. That is because of the specific talent that Iowa State and Ohio State have to offer in the current draft class.
COWBOYS CHECK OUT SKILL TALENT

The Dallas Cowboys will more than likely add a pass catcher through the draft. That would make a lot of sense with Amari Cooper off to the Browns, Cedrick Wilson signing with the Dolphins, and Blake Jarwin undergoing an "uncommon" hip surgery.
Kellen Moore got an up-close view at a ton of skill talent at Iowa State and Ohio State. The Cyclones and Buckeyes have multiple top-100 prospects to offer NFL teams — including multiple difference makers on the offensive side of the ball:
- Breece Hall — RB, Iowa State
- Charlie Kolar — TE, Iowa State
- Garrett Wilson — WR, Ohio State
- Chris Olave — WR, Ohio State
- Jeremy Ruckert — TE, Ohio State
Hall has a chance to be the first running back taken in the draft, but it is unlikely that the Cowboys go in that direction. The rest, however, are legitimate options to be drafted by the Cowboys in April.
Wilson and Olave are round-one prospects at wideout. The losses of Cooper and Wilson make the position a need for Dallas. Additionally, Olave has an official 30 visit scheduled with the Cowboys.
Ruckert and Kolar are intriguing talents at tight end. The return of Dalton Schultz may not stop the Cowboys from adding another player at the position — especially with Jarwin no longer on the squad.
Dallas went defensive-heavy in the 2021 NFL Draft, coming away with Micah Parsons and co. That worked out. Perhaps, the Cowboys are looking to take that same strategy to the offensive side of the ball this April.
