Ahead of their Sunday night game, the Dallas Cowboys (4-1) are making heavy roster moves once again. Their latest matchup against the unbeaten Philadelphia Eagles (5-0) to see plenty of new and old faces.

Some faces we haven't seen in a while.

With the slim possibility that a pair of noteworthy offensive players, QB Dak Prescott and OL Jason Peters, could both play. As well as WR CeeDee Lamb, could miss the game.

What we do know is that the Cowboys special teams unit is going to be changed up a bit.

RB Rico Dowdle (ankle) and WR Simi Fehoko (shoulder) are both headed to injured reserve. Leaving room for Dallas to elevate the necessary personnel.

RB Malik Davis was a preseason standout, routinely averaging well over four yards per carry. Now on the official roster, he is set to take the special teams snaps left from Dowdle.

With Fehoko out, it leaves the door open for rookie WR Jalen Tolbert to be active for only the second time this season. Despite his preseason struggles, Tolbert was still perceived as one of the three or four best receivers on the Dallas Cowboys roster. However he has only played in one other game in 2022.

With the new 53-man roster set for this week, there still remains the hopeful optimism players like Prescott or Peters can play. As well as the excitement for players like Davis and Tolbert to see the field.
