The Senior Bowl is one of the first real signs that the NFL Draft process is here. The Dallas Cowboys met with a handful of players down in Mobile during the week to gather more information during an abnormal offseason.

This year's draft cycle is already altered due to the fact there won't be workouts at the 2021 NFL Draft Combine. Individual pro days will be the only real opportunity for players to workout and participate in different drills.

That means teams will have to rely on the film and interviews with prospects more than ever. Therefore, the Cowboys — as well as many other teams around the league — did their homework while in Mobile.

Cowboys met with running back and two defensive ends at the Senior Bowl.

NFL Network's and Dallas Cowboys insider Jane Slater reported earlier in the week that the Cowboys met with three different players while in Mobile. Slater later clarified that these were not the only three, but that it was known these three players met with Dallas.

The Cowboys have some glaring needs on the defensive side of the ball, so it comes to no surprise that they met with (at least) two defensive ends. Turner is a Houston native that possesses a 6-foot-6, 270-pound frame. He finished his senior season with 10.5 tackles-for-loss and five sacks in five games.

Roche, meanwhile, made a name for himself while playing for Temple before transferring to Miami for his final season on the collegiate level. Roche recorded 26 sacks during his time with the Temple Owls. He made 14.5 sacks in his only season at Miami.

It is interesting that the Cowboys also met with a running back in Mobile. Dallas is set at two-deep at running back with Ezekiel Ellliott and Tony Pollard, but it would make sense to want to add a third body to the room if they don't bring Rico Dowdle back to the fold.

Slater reported that the Cowboys met with former Mississippi State and All-SEC running back Kylin Hill.

Hill had a breakout season with the Bulldogs while rushing for 1,350 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2019. He played in just three games in 2020 before opting out, but Hill accounted for 194 yards of total offense and a touchdown against LSU. The Mississippi State product showed off his receiving ability while in Starkville, an important element for a running back in today's NFL.

These are just three prospects that Dallas Cowboys spoke with during the week. The Cowboys obviously won't draft every player that they meet and talk to, but it is still noteworthy nonetheless.

Both pass rushers could be legitimate targets for the Cowboys in April, while Kylin Hill could be a steal if he falls on day-three of the draft.
