Here it is! The Dallas Cowboys and fans have been waiting nearly two months for this developing news.

To summarize, it can only be described in two words: He's back.

Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is now medically cleared by the medical staff. It's reported his workload will be heavy on Wednesday and Thursday to prepare him for Sunday against the Detroit Lions.

The news was first broke by DallasCowboys.com writer Patrik Walker.

The last time Dak was on the field was in a bad regular season debut against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In that game, he hurt his throwing hand in the second half, sidelining him for 4-6 weeks.

Though owner Jerry Jones initially insisted 2-4 could be a possibility, the emergence of QB Cooper Rush (4-1 as a starter in 2022) allowed the franchise quarterback to heal.

Had Rush struggled, it likely would've Rushed the Cowboys to play Prescott sooner than necessary.

He is able to not only grip the football, but able to throw passes in practice at full capacity. His outlook for Sunday to return is all but certain.

With medical clearance, Prescott has nothing keeping him off the field.

Now the Dallas Cowboys focus is on the Detroit Lions. Fielding on the of the worst defenses and best offenses in the league. With the return of Dak, it should only skyrocket the initial 7-point odds in Dallas' favor upward.
