The Dallas Cowboys take on the Atlanta Falcons in the home-opener, but the team may be without starting left tackle Tyron Smith.

Both the Cowboys and the Falcons are looking to avenge their week one loss on Sunday. The Cowboys are allowing fans into the stadium, potentially giving them a little bit of home-field advantage for when the Falcons come into town.

While having fans in AT&T Stadium will be nice, it would be even better if the Cowboys were taking the field with one of their most important players.

Left tackle Tyron Smith is listed as questionable for the Dallas Cowboys' matchup with the Atlanta Falcons on Friday's injury report.

That is not good news for a Dallas Cowboys team that is already without right tackle La'el Collins for the next few weeks and just saw both linebacker Leighton Vander Esch and tight end Blake Jarwin leave week one with major injuries.

Tyron Smith is no stranger to dealing with injuries. The future Hall of Famer is among the best at his position in all of the NFL, but he has also dealt with nagging injuries over the last few seasons. The Cowboys are hoping Smith is able to give it a go on Sunday, as things may turn ugly for the offense if two backups are starting at the tackle spots.

Undrafted free agent Terence Steele played relatively well for the most part in place of La'el Collins last Sunday. Steele did struggle on the game's final drive, but he played about as well as you could have expected given all of the circumstances.

If Tyron Smith is not able to suit up on Sunday, things get scary for Dak Prescott and the Cowboys offense. Nobody wants a repeat of the last time that the Cowboys played against the Falcons without their left tackle protecting Prescott's blindside.

Elsewhere in the injury report, wide receiver Amari Cooper appears to be good to go after being limited in practice during the week. Cooper had 10 catches for 81 yards versus the Rams but left a few plays on the field during the loss.

Defensive back Anthony Brown, meanwhile, is listed as questionable for Sunday's game. The Cowboys are going to need all hands on deck versus the explosive Falcons passing attack, so here's hoping Brown suits up.
