Michael Gallup hadn't surpassed 50 receiving yards in a single game since returning from an ACL injury in Week 4. The Dallas Cowboys wide receiver had had some moments here and there but production-wise there wasn't any consistency.

On Thanksgiving's win over the New York Giants though, Gallup reminded fans what he's all about. Although he didn't have a second-half catch, the Cowboys' veteran set the tone with five catches for 63 yards early in the first half alone. That's been his best performance of the season.

"He’s getting his feet back under him and at this point, I think they are back under him," Dak Prescott told reporters postgame.

But it wasn't just about him catching the ball. They came up in big spots as four of his five receptions went for a first down for Dallas. Not to mention they came in contested situations in which he showed off his jump skills and ability to fight for the ball and high-point it.

"He made a couple of tough catches one on ones and the nonstop early in the first was a huge catch," added the Cowboys' quarterback. "he’s showing up and that’s who Michael Gallup is and I’m glad he’s gained that confidence back."

Gallup being a legitimate threat means the world to the Cowboys' offense. Through 11 games, it's clear Kellen Moore wants CeeDee Lamb in the slot often.

With a guy like Gallup who can win on the outside, especially when isolated, that becomes way easier for the offense.

Big props should be given to Dak Prescott and Kellen Moore, who are finding ways to get everyone involved on offense. Whether it's their go-to guy in Lamb, Tony Pollard out of the backfield, or any of the guys in a loaded tight end room, targets are well spread out.

The Cowboys' offense is throwing out all kinds of personnel groupings and formations and keeping every defense on its toes.
