Well, they call it Free Agency Frenzy for a reason.

Moments after reports emerged on the Dallas Cowboys signing Randy Gregory to a five-year deal, it appears the deal fell apart at the very last moment.

The mix-up comes after the Dallas Cowboys official Twitter account tweeted out the deal was done.

Not only that but even Gregory's agent, Peter Schaffer, had been quoted by Calvin Watkins from the Dallas Morning News confirming a deal between the Cowboys and Gregory was done.

Talk about a bizarre situation. The deal was seemingly in place before it all went down the drain.

Patrik Walker from CBS Sports had reported on Monday that the Denver Broncos were among the most interested teams in signing Randy Gregory.

If you were planning on getting a new Randy Gregory jersey after the initial reports, you might want to hold up on that. Gregory is reportedly signing with the Broncos now.

Once this is all confirmed, it could go down as the biggest front office blunder in recent memory for the Dallas Cowboys' front office. Charles Robinson from Yahoo is reporting this was 100% about the Cowboys tinkering with the contract language at the last moment.
