A Dallas Cowboys legend is officially eligible for the Hall of Fame. It is a step closer to Canton for DeMarcus Ware. As one of the best defenders in team history, Ware has and always will be a beloved Cowboy.
The former Dallas and Denver pass-rusher totaled a ridiculous 117 sacks in 9 seasons with the Cowboys. He added 145 tackles for loss as well as 185 quarterback hits.
One of the most underrated aspects of his Cowboys career was his reliability and durability. Ware played in all 16 games of every season except for one in Dallas. Not to mention, he started 140 of 141 possible games in that span.
Ware was a special talent for the Cowboys. He absolutely deserves this nod and a spot in the Hall of Fame.
