Now that the Dallas Cowboys are out of the playoffs, we know where their selection will be in the 2022 NFL Draft.

The latest updated draft order has the Cowboys with the No. 24 overall pick.

On Wednesday, The Athletic's Dane Brugler released his latest two-round mock draft. And he has the Cowboys addressing a big — albeit unsexy — need in the first round.

Brugler is projecting Texas A&M offensive lineman Kenyon Green to the Cowboys at No. 24 overall.

Here's what Brugler says about the selection:

Left guard Connor Williams, who probably played his final game in Dallas on Saturday, was a liability for most of the Cowboys’ wild-card game, and the 49ers took advantage. Although Green played predominantly at left guard for the Aggies, he also logged starts at left tackle, right tackle and right guard in 2021 and would give Dallas a versatile blocker who can fill in at several positions if needed.

In the second round, Brugler has Dallas taking Penn State safety Jaquan Brisker (No. 56 overall selection).

Brisker is a former four-star recruit who played in 34 career games for the Nittany Lions. The Pittsburgh native was a team captain for Penn State while finishing with six tackles for loss and two interceptions in 2021.
