It's NFL Trade deadline day so that means our Sherlock Holmes instincts are turned all the way as we continuously refresh our feeds looking for any rumored potential upgrade for the Dallas Cowboys.

That means we're looking for any possible clues left by beat reporters, players' social media accounts, and anything that could suggest a move before Tuesday's 3 p.m. CT deadline

For Cowboys fans, there's one particular wide receiver that had some eyebrow-raising likes on Twitter. It's a name known by those who follow America's Team, too. After all, he seems to pop up as a discussion every single off-season.

Houston Texans wide receiver Brandin Cooks. On Tuesday afternoon, Cooks liked a tweet by ESPN's Ed Werder discussing the Cowboys' need for a wide receiver

His likes also included tweets on the Vikings, who at 6-1 could be looking to make the most out of a weakened NFC. They already traded for tight end T.J. Hockenson, which could complicate pulling off another deal for the wideout.

Social media activity has proven itself wrong time and time again, but it's at least noteworthy that Cooks liked those tweets while missing from Texans' practice.

Earlier on Tuesday, Jerry Jones discussed the possibility of trading for a wide receiver while noting his age plays a factor in his urgency to win it all.
