Still, when it comes to the Cowboys, criticism will surely follow. Critics argued that Diggs gave up too much yards and is a liability when he goes for interceptions.

"He's boom-or-bust right now," an NFC defensive coach said. "I love his instincts, but if the cost is giving up a bunch of big plays, I don't love the interceptions."

"I actually think he'll get better because he can learn from all those chances he took," an AFC exec said. "He's clearly got the ball skills."

The more interceptions, the more opportunities for Dak Prescott and the offense to go to work. The more plays made in the secondary, the better odds that Micah Parsons can get to the quarterback.
Trevon Diggs is an extremely important player to the Dallas Cowboys' success. League executives believe that he is a top-10 corner in the NFL, but the Cowboys' defender has a strong case to be ranked much higher at his position.
