The Denver Broncos received some bad news just moments before their kickoff against the Houston Texans.

The inactive report came out, and there are some key players with their names on that list.

For the Broncos, wide receiver K.J. Hamler, rookie receiver Jalen Virgil, rookie linebacker Nik Bonitto, veteran linebacker Josey Jewell, offensive lineman Billy Turner, offensive lineman Quinn Meinerz, and defensive lineman Eyioma Uwazurike are all listed as inactive.

For the Texans, they have quarterback Kyle Allen, receiver Phillip Dorsett, receiver Tyler Johnson, linebacker Jake Hansen, defensive lineman Justin Britt, and defensive lineman Demone Harris all inactive.

The Broncos will be missing two rookies and a receiver in K.J. Hamler that have been great for the Broncos in either the preseason or years passed.

Nik Bonitto, the broncos top pick in this last draft is also out, which is not good news, at all.
