The Denver Broncos' injury woes continued.

It took a little over a quarter of football for the first big injury to take place for the team that has been snakebitten by injuries over the past year.

Right after the first quarter concluded, Broncos S Caden Sterns suffered an apparent knee injury and needed to be carted off the field

Sterns, a three-year player from Texas, had high hopes for this season and was a crucial part of the backfield. Throughout his NFL career, Sterns has played in 20 games with 49 total tackles, two sacks, and four interceptions.

In mere seconds, the team announced that Sterns would be out for the rest of the game. The talented safety could be seen banging the cart on his way off the field, visibility upset and a crushing blow for the defense

It'll be next man up for the Broncos as the backfield is already dealing with plenty of injuries across the board. Here's hoping for a speedy recovery and not another season-ending injury.
