Sean Payton has had a busy offseason so far.

With huge moves to protect Russell Wilson on the offensive line side of the ball, the team is looking up. The front office has sprinkled in a handful of other moves that should revitalize the fanbase after a lackluster season.

It appears that the front office isn't done, either. While this move doesn't protect Russell Wilson, it will undoubtedly help the offense.

Mike Klis, the Broncos reporter for 9NEWS, announced that the Broncos are signing former Saints RB Tony Jones Jr. to a one-year deal.

Jones Jr. has enjoyed a four-year NFL career where he has spent time with the New Orleans Saints and most recently the Seattle Seahawks. The veteran running back has accumulated 179 yards on 67 attempts throughout his NFL career.

While the move isn't groundbreaking, adding another weapon for Russell Wilson will always be a net positive. The decision comes just a few days removed from another RB addition to the roster, Samaje Perine.

It appears that the focus, outside of a few additions on the defensive side of the ball, this offseason has been to protect and equip Russell Wilson to succeed.

Let's see what else Sean Payton has up his sleeve.
