The Denver Broncos entered the 2023 NFL Draft with more questions than answers. They needed a multitude of answers for all the questions their roster presents, even after free agency. They didn't have a pick the first two days of the draft so now, it's about making the next picks count just as much.

So, who are the newest Broncos from the 2023 NFL Draft? Let's take a look and find out.

Round 3, No. 63 overall: WR Marvin Mims, Oklahoma

The Denver Broncos first draft pick in the 2023 NFL Draft was a surprising one. The wide receiver room could definitely get better, but it isn’t a huge focus need at all.

Instead O think most people thought they would go cornerback, running back, or offensive line. So yes, it caught most people off guard.

But, in his pre-draft presser for Friday, Sean Payton let everyone know that the Mims pick had nothing to do with the current wide receiver room situation. They just really liked the player.

The Arkansas linebacker did a little bit of everything in college, which is why he was considered by most to be the best linebacker in the draft.

The Broncos needed help at the position and they are getting it, as they get a guy who had 11 sacks last year and over 90 tackles. He can play inside linebacker or outside.

He let everyone know that you could even drop him back in coverage, and then Payton let everyone know he would be a inside linebacker for Denver.

It’s no secret the Broncos needed help with their secondary, a unit that was elite last year. Their cornerback room needs the most help, as the starting situation was locked in as Surtain, Williams, and Mathis.

The Broncos traded up to go get a guy that is versatile, in the fact that he played safety and corner in college. He is fast and physical, and they hope that he is a guy that anchors down this secondary for the future.

This was one of the Broncos biggest needs, yet somehow they were still able to trade up and get their guy at 83.

Round 6, No. 183 overall: S JL Skinner, Boise State

The Denver Broncos needed another safety just in case Kareem Jackson and his group don’t come to an agreement with the team to come back. Sean Payton said they were in talks after the draft.

Skinner is a guy who can line up anywhere, but his physical prowess makes him better as a safety in some situations. The Broncos were able to get a top 7 safety by many peoples big boards, in the sixth round.

Skinner can develop into a good starter, but still has a lot to learn. It was a great pick by the Broncos nonetheless.

Round 7, No. 257 overall: C Alex Forsyth, Oregon

There were rumors the Broncos may be interested in grabbing a center, but it was always thought that if they did it would be  day two pick. It was obviously a day three pick, and a late one at that.

Forsyth can be good, but he isn't going to be the guy that replaces Lloyd Cushenberry right away. Cushenberry was bad last year but he is the best available option.

My thought is that the Broncos will develop him into a guy that will be a cornerstone of this offensive line.
