The Dolphins put a whooping on a team that was missing their starting secondary, and they exposed it the entire game. Russell Wilson didn't look bad, but the offensive line didn't do him any favors.
Perhaps the lone bright spot was that of Marvin Mims Jr. who continues his impressive rookie season. It won't matter much with the blowout victory, but we were happy to see his improvements throughout his short NFL career.
After the loss, former Broncos legend Shannon Sharpe sent a message that Sean Payton and the front office need to hear. A brutal loss earns them some of this harsh criticism.
Sharpe, exploding on social media, had a message for Broncos country. "Broncos country, I'm incredibly sorry and embarrassed by this PATHETIC F'ING EFFORT by our Broncos." Sharpe didn't stop there, "THIS IS UNNACCEPTABLE. 2 give up 70 points in a NFL GM with a 300 hundred yd passer 150 yd receiver, a 200 yd rusher in the same game is "UNCONSCIONABLE."
For today, things look really bleak for the Broncos' future. I previously wrote about how the team had never had a winning season after starting 0-2. You can imagine their luck after starting 0-3.
Payton has his work cut out for him.

The Denver Broncos didn’t start the season the way they’d hoped. However, head coach Sean Payton’s personal history should allow fans to breathe easy.
