The Detroit Lions got another big win on Sunday when they went down to Florida and beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 20-6. It wasn't the Lions highest scoring game, but it was an impressive win no less.
We have 4 winners and 2 losers from today's game. Let's jump into it
Winner: Amon-Ra St. Brown

Dan Campbell said it best in his post game presser. Player makers make plays. That’s all St. Brown did on Sunday. He had a career high 12 catches for 124 yards and a beautiful touchdown. He was amazing down the stretch when he caught multiple balls in a six minute drive in the fourth quarter. He was just automatic.
Loser: Riley Patterson

I put Patterson in the loser column last week and caught some flak for it. The whole reason I put him in there was because the Lions were clearly having issues trusting his ability to make the long kicks when needed. On Sunday they found themselves in a position where they had to have Riley try for the long kick. And he missed. It’s fine because the Lions won, but there could come a time this year where they need him to sink one and if he can’t, it’s going to rough.
Winner: Jameson Williams

You’ve been waiting for this moment for so long. Williams just needed to go out there and have a good play and give himself something to build off of. He id that on Sunday with a really nice 45-yard contested catch for his first touchdown of the year. You could feel the wight come off his shoulders and you could feel it come off the fans shoulders too. Everyone was so worried that he wouldn’t be the player they want him to be. He’s still got to go out there and keep it going, but this is was great start.
Loser: Sam LaPorta

Rookies are going to have bad days sometimes. This was a bad day for LaPorta. There were some drops and there were balls that he really should have caught. Goff targeted him 11 times on Sunday and only caught four of those passes. There is absolutely no reason to panic about LaPorta at all. Like I said, there’s bumps on the road for every rookie. LaPorta had some on Sunday. Let’s see how he responds.
Winner: Alex Anzalone

Anzalone has been a game wrecker for the Lions this season. We’re seeing him play the best football in his career. He had a nice nine tackles on Sunday and beautiful pass breakup. That wasn’t all though. He did this with his parent sin the building just a few days after they were able to get out of Israel safe.
Winner: Craig Reynolds

Reynolds makes the winners list for the second straight week. He's been so impressive lately. He didn't really do much in the run game on Sunday after Montgomery went down with an injury. What he did do was pull off one fo the best blocks we've seen all year.
He also had a big 28 yard catch in the second half. That helped set up a score for the Lions and keep the deficit up. Keep up the good work Reynolds.
9 takeaways from Lions vs Bucs
This looked like a tough game for the Detroit Lions all week. The Buccaneers are one hell of a football team. The Lions were able to go in and do their thing despite a slow start on offense and they got the job done with a 20-6 win. With the Eagles and 49ers losses, the […]
