It was like looking in a mirror and everyone noticed it. On  Sunday Night Football the San Francisco 49ers ran this really nice trick play that wound up with George Kittle scoring a touchdown.

That's a really cool play design by Kyle Shanahan. One of the best offensive minds in the NFL does it again. He's a genius!

But wait, where have I seen that play before? It looks so familiar. Oh, I know, the Detroit Lions ran that same exact play just a few hours earlier in their win over the Carolina Panthers.

There's no telling how this came about. The most logical thing that I think happened is that Shanahan saw the Lions run this play at about 11:21 this morning and decided to install it before the 49ers took the field around 5:00PM.

You could say that maybe there's a chance that both teams had the same exact play in their arsenal before today and they both coincidentally ran that play on the same day, but that actually seems more far fetched than Shanahan just seeing it and wanting to run it.

It's funny that both plays involved an Iowa tight end. What are they putting in the tight end's water over there?
