Detroit Lions cornerback Chase Lucas has had quite the week. Lions head coach Dan Campbell raved about him and his consistency during Wednesday's press conference. That talk made it seem like Lucas could have a shot to make the Lions 53 man roster. On Friday he helped out his case when he did this.
He didn't just win Lions fans buy one get one Big Macs at McDonalds. He might have won himself a roster spot as well. Aside from this amazing interception, Lucas has a real presence on special teams.
The former seventh round pick initially made the Lions roster last year, but bounced back and forth between the main roster and the practice squad. We'll find out Tuesday if he can make the teams 53 man roster again, this should help.
