The NFL has put out there nominees for NFL Rookie of the Week and Detroit Lions cornerback Brian Branch is one of them.
Branch had a big first game in the NFL. He picked off NFL MVP Patrick Mahomes and took that pick back to the house for a gem tying touchdown. It was a very important moment in the game for the Lions as they were in danger of going down 21-7.
Branch will go up against Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson, Rams receiver Puka Nauca, Jets receiver Xavier Gipson, Falcons running back Bijan Robinson and Ravens receiver Zay Flowers.
