Welcome back to another Detroit Lions mailbag. We've got some good stuff for you this week. We've got some camp questions, someone wants me to make a prediction about the Lions vs Chiefs game and I think someone is asking me to help them select a cable package. Let's jump into it.

I think the one that makes the most sense at this point is Ifeatu Melifonwu. The Lions invested a lot of money and a high draft pick into this secondary this offseason. Plus they also have guys like Tracy Walker, Kerby Joseph and Jerry Jacobs who are already on the team. The former third round pick has struggled to find his place on the team and has gone back and forth from corner to safety. I just don't know if he's good enough at either to make the 53 man roster this year.

This is a tough one. On one hand I do think the Lions can give this Chiefs team all they can handle, on the other hand, this is the best team in football that we're talking about here.

I think the Lions can pull the upset, but I have to go with the Chiefs at this exact point in time. I think it'll be close. Put me down for the Chiefs winning 24-21. This prediction might change after camp. We'll see. Frankly, I just can't wait to watch this game.

You know, I don't think he would have. Cephus showed some flashes in early 2021, but he's been a ghost since then. It's probably because he was placed on injured reserve in 2021 and then again in 2022. The receiving corps could use a little help, but they aren't a shallow enough group to where Cephus could have made the team. Even if he had, he would have likely been buried below Raymond, Jones and Reynolds. I wish the best for him after his suspension, I think he's going to have a hard time finding his way back though.

At this point I think he's trending towards being more on the inside of things. We didn't get to see a whole lot of edge rushing from Pascal last season, but we did get to see him look good at stopping the run. I think the Lions develop him more in that section of things. That's where he succeeded the most when he was at Kentucky. That's also an area the Lions really need help at.

This last question is from Facebook. I took down the mailbag post before getting this users name. My apologies. Here's the question:

"Let me start of bt saying I'm a LIONS die hard fan..and my goal is to go to 1 or 2 games in det..this yr…but my ? Is..why can't we get football games in the off season ..like this good game we stomped the packards ..Or any great game ..sunday..one game..all off season. We want football all yr..you know how many shows we watch that are reruns..give us football..and not just ESPN.Some people aren't fortunate to have that..or like me I refuse to pay that..regular tv..football every sumday..let's go lions."

Sir, I'm not 100% sure what you're asking me right now. I think that maybe you're looking to watch reruns of NFL games. If that's the case, there's a couple on YouTube that you can watch. Otherwise, you're going to have to pay for some sort of cable package or signup for NFL Game Pass. Then you can watch Lions football all day long.
