Lions re-sign DL Isaiah Buggs to a two-year deal
The Lions inked DL Isaiah Buggs to a two-year deal after a productive 2022 campaign with the team.
The Detroit Lions signed interior defensive lineman Isaiah Buggs to a two-year deal worth up to $6 million on Monday.

Base Salary
2023: $1,100,000
2024: $2,050,000
Buggs receives a $1 million signing bonus carrying his total guarantees to $2.1 million.
In 2022, played in all 17 games in 2022, logging 13 starts and recording 46 tackles, one sack and a forced fumble. It was his first year in Detroit after spending his first three season with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He managed to produce with an increased role on the defense.
Retaining Buggs was an important task for the Lions who are likely to bolster the middle of its defense in free agency and through the draft process.
