It's been a rough go for Detroit Lions receiver Jameson Williams since he joined the Detroit Lions. There's been a lot of starts and stops with him. It looks like there's going to be another stop.

Williams stopped on a deep route on Wednesday and immediately grabbed the back of his leg in the hamstring area. He was taken off the field with trainers. Now we know that this injury is bad enough for Williams to possibly miss the remainder of the preseason.

When asked if Williams will miss the rest of the preseason on Thursday, Lions Head Coach Dan Campbell said that there's a "good chance" that happens.

Campbell was also on the Stoney and Jansen show on Thursday morning and he had this to say about Williams.

“We’re not going to have him for the first six games, so… you know, it’s a challenge. But I think what we’ve got to do from now until whenever he’s back on the field or the season starts—which we know what that entails—is as much film study as we can get. You get him in the classroom, he’s got to rehab now. You don’t want any of your players to get hurt or go down, and I understand his situation—we all do—but we’re not going to sweat it. We do what we can do, we get him to come along, he rehabs, and when he’s ready, he’s ready.”

Anything can happen, but it's looking like we won't see Williams again until the Lions play the Ravens in Week 7. We'll see what he looks like then.
