It feels like no matter who the Detroit Lions have assigned to them when it comes to officiating, they're bound to get one that made a horrible call that sticks in Lions fans heads for ever. This week they really do get a crew that Lions fans may feel had one of the biggest bad calls in Lions history.
Carl Cheffers and his crew will the officials for the Lions game against the Falcons this week. That name shouldn't sound too familiar at first. Cheffers hasn't officiated a Lions game since 2019. That's not what you'll remember him from. What you might remember is this though.
