Tempers can flare on the football field. Seeing teams having small scuffle sand pushing matches is not something that's out of the ordinary by any stretch. Seeing a player punch another player in the face is completely different scenario.

TikTok user Castordizz noticed something likie that happened on Thursday night when the Detroit Lions played the Kansas City Chiefs.

As you can see here, Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco hits Lions safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson right in the face after clutching at him previously in the game. Gardner-Johnson clearly looks to see if an official took notice and one did not. The game just carried on.

This isn't the first time that Gardner-Johnson has been punched in the face during a game. You might remember receiver Javon Wims sucker punching Gardner-Johnson back in 2020.

This probably won't be the last time we see something like this with Gardner-Johnson. I hope it is, but the man is a master of smack talk and getting into the heads of players. He's a villain and he makes players upset.

Update: Garner-Johnson has seen the footage and has responded.

How does a guy that has 47 receptions and finish second in receiving yards on The Detroit Lions last year only get targeted one time In the Lions season opener?  Last year wasn't a fluke. Raymond was targeted 64 times and caught 47 balls last, […]
