Samuel Jr. often gets overlooked due to a few bad reps that have hurt his stats heavily. But when you take a look at his technique, and what he does the vast majority of the time, you see a really good football player. His athleticism and quickness give him an elite ability to cover anyone, and make up for gaps in the Chargers defense. With that in mind, I see a really high ceiling for this young cornerback.

Strengths:

  1. Coverage Skills: Samuel Jr. is an excellent coverage cornerback who can stick with receivers in both man and zone coverage. He has good instincts and awareness, which allows him to anticipate routes and make plays on the ball.
