Edwards' Strengths and Weaknesses
Strengths:
- Tackling: Edwards is a sure tackler who is able to wrap up ball carriers and bring them down quickly. He is also a physical player who is not afraid to initiate contact.
- Run defense: Edwards is strong against the run and is able to diagnose plays quickly, shedding blocks and filling gaps effectively.
- Football IQ: Edwards is a smart player who is able to read and react to plays well. He also has a good understanding of offensive schemes and tendencies.
Weaknesses:
- Pass coverage: Edwards can struggle in pass coverage at times, especially against quicker or more athletic players. He may not have the speed or agility to stick with some receivers or tight ends in coverage.
- Athleticism: While Edwards is a solid athlete, he may not have the elite speed or agility that some linebackers possess. This could limit his ability to make plays in certain situations.
- Size: Edwards is not the biggest linebacker, standing at 6'1" and 242 pounds. This could make it more difficult for him to shed blocks or take on bigger offensive linemen.
