CB Stephon Gilmore is EXACTLY what the Cowboys needed: Free Agent Film Breakdown
In this film breakdown, we take a look at the Dallas Cowboys newest CB, Stephon Gilmore.
Gilmore is a 2x All-Pro, 5x Pro Bowler, and was the 2019 Defensive Player of the Year. The Cowboys' biggest offseason need, in my opinion, was a stud corner opposite of Trevon Diggs. They got just that with Stephon Gilmore, adding a great defensive piece, but also allowing them to go spend their draft picks elsewhere, either adding to their offensive line, or giving their defense some more depth. Gilmore is a strong body, with tons of great experience and ability. Adding him opposite of Diggs, with young guys like Israel Mukuamu, Sam Williams, Daron Bland, and obviously Micah Parsons, gives me a ton of hope for the Cowboys in 2023-24.
