The Green Bay Packers and their feelings on moving on from QB Aaron Rodgers are clear. If they move him it will be to the AFC. A promise they are making with the future Hall of Famer.

As far as which team, the choices are limited.

For now, these are the only AFC teams who have made it clear of their intentions to change signal callers for 2023:

  • Houston Texans
  • Indianapolis Colts
  • New York Jets
  • Las Vegas Raiders

This could obviously change. It's still unclear where the Baltimore Ravens sit with Lamar Jackson, as well as the Tennessee Titans with Ryan Tannehill.

However, the most vocal team about upgrading the QB position are the Jets. Making it clear now that not only are they looking to upgrade but that Rodgers is defiantly a preferred option for next season.

We have already dove into what it would cost for any team to trade with the Green Bay Packers for Rodgers. The Jets certainly have what's necessary for this to go down.

A good offensive line, weapons to throw to, respected Head Coach, his Offensive Coordinator (Nathaniel Hackett) from his back-to-back MVP seasons, and a winnable division.

The Jets are making it obvious how much they want a new quarterback. Rodgers very well may be at the top of their wish list. Especially compared to Derek Carr or Jimmy Garoppolo.

Green Bay is being heavily courted. The Packers will have no shortage of suitors, and it starts with New York.
