There's a scenario where the Green Bay Packers could be playing in the biggest game of the year in week 18.

That's not a sentence I thought I'd be writing when the Packers were 4-8 a few weeks ago.

But after reeling off three straight wins, Green Bay is in a position where they could make the playoffs.

And they could get into the postseason in the most exciting way possible.

If the Packers beat the Minnesota Vikings this week, the Detroit Lions beat the Chicago Bears, and the Seattle Seahawks and the Washington Commanders both lose, then it'll mean a showdown in week 18 between Green Bay and Detroit where the winner gets into the playoffs.

Can you imagine the hype for that game if that ends up being the situation in week 18?

Two teams who were left for dead earlier in the season could be playing a winner take all game in the final week of the season. It would essentially be a playoff game.

That's a matchup that every NFL fan wants. There's nothing better than a win-or-go-home game to end the regular season. And I'm hoping that's what we get in week 18 when the Packers host the Lions.
