GREEN BAY – From the outside, it appears that the relationship between Aaron Rodgers and the Packers has been rather, let’s say -rocky- over the last few years.

But, home is where the heart is at the end of the day. And according to Rodgers himself, home (in NFL terms) is Green Bay.

On Tuesday, Rodgers was asked if he would finish his career in Green Bay and he made it absolutely clear what his intention and desire were regarding the topic.

“Yes, definitely,” he said per Zach Heilprin, who is the Sports Director over at Madison’s 96.7 The Zone.

The phrasing is important, here. While there is a good chance Rodgers isn’t playing around with his words, there’s still slight room for interpretation.

Rodgers could easily be thinking along the lines of playing elsewhere for his final year or two or whatever and then pull the good ol’ sign-with-the-Packers-for-a-day-to-retire-as-a-Packer.

Odds are, that’s not the case. But as with all things Rodgers, we’ll never really know until it actually happens.
