There's a lot to like about Green Bay Packers rookie Jayden Reed and fans were shown why during Thursday's practice.

Reed and the Packers offense were able to eat up a good chunk of yardage thanks to a well-designed play that saw Jordan Love fake a handoff to running back A.J. Dillon before handing it to a sprinting Reed on the end-around. The rookie speedster then made a nice cut in the open field to avoid a would-be tackle before the whistles stopped the play.

Reed's ability to fly the down the field is a big reason why the Packers drafted him in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft. It's awesome to see the Packers already utilizing it in camp practices, but it's also something his teammates are fully aware of.

"That's a tough one," Packers running back Aaron Jones said when asked who's the second-fastest player on the team, behind Christian Watson. "On the offensive side it's either them two: Bo Melton or J-Reed – it's out of them two."

Reed should be the team's primary slot receiver in 2023 – or he'll at least play a decent amount of snaps there. When accounting for the potential matchup advantages he can create on the inside, he's in line to make some big plays this year.

It's just a matter of how quickly he can put it all together.
