The Houston Texans announced last offseason that they would be having a new uniform design in the 2024 season and would release it in April of 2024. This is something everyone has looked forward to, especially since Houston is known for its vibrant blue color.

However, on Monday, we got something that we did not expect. First, a leak came out, and then the official photo came out. The leak was on Reddit, and the CEO and Chairman of the Houston Texans replied to that thread with a photo of the real uniforms.

Needless to say, of course, this is all subjective; they aren't great. Their current uniforms from the last 20 years or so are much better. These are eerly similar but with a different font on the numbers and bull horns on the shoulders.

It's safe to say that fans are happy, either. Sure, some fans like them, but there seems to be a much larger portion of the fan base that is underwhelmed by the release.

Cal McNair mentioned in his post that there is a promise to come, as these appear to be just the away uniforms. So, maybe the jury is still out on the entire uniform collection.
