The Indianapolis Colts are monitoring several things this offseason, but Anthony Richardson's injury recovery is their top priority.
And they had to be pleased with the update given by Richardon's agent, Deiric Jackson, that the QB took a massive step forward in his recovery.
Richardson shared just last month that he was hoping to be throwing around this time, and he did just that. Stephen Holder of ESPN shared some info on why this is so significant as a response to Jackson's post.
Holder's update that Richardson is six to eight weeks ahead of schedule in his recovery is massive news for both the QB and the Colts. Getting Richardson fully ready for training camp so the team can begin preparing for him to be their Week 1 starter again is priority number one for this offseason.
While it seems Richardson currently isn't allowed to train as hard as he would like, beginning to throw is a clear sign that the arrow is pointing in the right direction. No one should want Richardson to rush back to the field, as his long-term health is crucial to the franchise's future success. But the team and Colts fans anxiously await Richardon's return to the field.
