The Jaguars' preseason schedule includes games at Dallas, at Detroit, and at home against Miami.

According to Sharp Football Stats, the Jaguars have the 9th-easiest schedule calculated by Vegas win totals for the 2023 season.  Vegas gives the Jags a healthy 6th-highest win total at 10.3.

Coming off a 9-8 regular season record with an AFC South title and a playoff win, the Jaguars are a team that's seemingly on the rise, so there was some optimism that the league would reward the franchise with multiple prime time games, and that optimism proved true.

The Jags will play in five games outside of the normal 1:00 or 4:05 pm ET Sunday time slots this fall. They play at 9:30 am ET in Weeks 4 and 5 against the Falcons and Bills in London. They play at New Orleans on Thursday Night Football in Week 7. Then, in December, they host the Bengals (Week 13) and the Ravens (Week 15) in back-to-back home games on Monday Night Football and Sunday Night Football, respectively.

The Jags open the season on the road against Indianapolis. They follow that with their home opener against the defending Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs.

The schedule is relatively balanced, as the Jaguars do not play two consecutive true road games without it being followed by at least two consecutive home games. The final eight weeks of the Jags' season alternate home and road games each week, meaning there are no extended road game stretches late in the season. By comparison, the New York Giants will have to go on the road for 7 of their 9 games following their home season opener against the Dallas Cowboys.

Just as they did in 2022, the Jaguars will close the 2022 season against the Titans, except this time the game will be played in Nashville.  Perhaps another de facto AFC South divisional championship game between Tennessee and Jacksonville could be in the cards.
