Everyone knows the story of the Las Vegas Raiders and quarterback Derek Carr.
Las Vegas is ready to move on from Carr, and the QB is ready for a new opportunity elsewhere. There's no bad blood as both sides have agreed that it is time for a new beginning.
The Raiders will have a new starting quarterback next season, and Carr will most likely start for a new team.
Carr was selected to the Pro Bowl last week after Patrick Mahomes was removed due to the Super Bowl. In a sense, it is his finale as a Raider.
Today, Carr gave fans a pretty comical clip during the Pro Bowl festivities.
Ryan Clark asked him if he had ever been "that hot" after the QB dominated a drill, and Carr responded with, "Not that hot… that's probably why I'm going somewhere else."
The Pro Bowl is for fun and celebration.
Carr has embraced that and wanted to poke a bit of fun at the situation. It was a light-hearted attempt that many fans will probably get a laugh out of, and that's a good thing.
Now, the waiting game truly begins as the Raiders look for their new quarterback.
